DEAFinitely, Inc. and Families Creating Together (FCT)

are partnering to host a series of outdoor celebrations in different

neighborhoods across Boston called DEAFinitely Power of the Arts.

Because the power of the arts is life changing!

These events will welcome multi-cultural, multi-lingual,

intergenerational families to offer inclusive dance and art.

After a year of isolation and language deprivation from COVID and devastating racial injustices, Deaf and hearing youth and families look forward to a new year of healing and change that bonds them.

If your family is interested in attending a Power of the Arts event in 2022, please contact deafinitelycrew@gmail.com

June 2021

To close out an extremely challenging year, the entire Horace Mann School for the Deaf in Allston, MA, from preschool to high school participated in DEAFinitely Power of the Arts. Younger children rotated between puppetry and dance, while middle and high school students rotated between a breakdance workshop and shadow puppetry.

What a great way to end the year by enjoying time together outside celebrating

the arts and dance through American Sign Language!
